Pranayama Yoga Training

Pranayama Yoga Teacher Training

January 30 – February 2 , 2025

In yoga, a whole human is described through the language of the Koshas, or layers. This complex view of existence offers a framework for looking at the interconnection among the physical, energetic and mental experiences. The driving component within these experiences is our life force, or Prana as it is described in yogic texts.

Pranayama is described in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras as the controlled intake and outflow of breath in a firmly established posture. Breath control can be practiced in many ways as a means towards many ends including physical health and energetic flow. Ultimately, on our Yogic Path, Pranayama is a key component along with asana that supports a yogi in meditation and movement towards enlightenment, or what may more pragmatically be considered a deep sense of silence and ease.
