Yang-Yin Summer Solstice Celebration
Join Amanda Greenwood for a Summer Solstice Celebration. In this popup class, we will celebrate the Sun and the longest day of the year by stoking our own internal fire - our Agni! We will honour this day with movement and breath to strengthen Agni, build power and stamina, while burning up all we wish to let go, as we enter the season of fire.
Sun Salutations are a beautifully powerful way to celebrate, and this practice will build to and offer a variety of Salutations and more through a unique dynamic flow to honour the Sun.
A yin practice will wind the session down with longer held asanas focusing on the Heart Meridian, and the element, Fire. With heart openers and twists, the movement of QI through the body is enhanced and will help bring clarity to the mind and vigour to our circulation. Pranayama will be guided through out and meditation will seal the practice.
This pop up will offer an all levels fiery flow mix and allow us to welcome in the season of Summer together! On the Solstice, we dance with the sun and let our spirits soar!
